Departure from the hotel Park. Novi Sad or “Serbian Athens”, town most renowned in Serbia for its culture. Some of the best known parts of Novi Sad are its pedestrian area – Danube street, “Zmaj Jovina” street, City Hall, Orthodox Church of Saint George, Catholic Church „Name of Mary“, “Banovina”- Monumental building of Executive Council and Assembly of Vojvodina, Serbian national theater, House at white lion, Orthodox bishops palace, Danube park. After one hour walk, drive to Petrovaradin Fortress, second largest fortress in whole Europe. Built by cutting edge military technology of 18. century. Fortress was never conquered! Vast bastions stand even today as evidence of its greatness. Sightseeing of fortress. Drunken Clock tower, bastion Ludvig, Arsenal, Officers pavilion. Return to the hotel or the restaurant under the fortress for guest who plan to attend the dinner. End of program.
